As soon as you arrive in Heaven City, you should speak with Jigong Moppet (1220, 1006) and she will help you learn about the basic status control panel. She can also help you set a respawn point, so that if you are killed while out adventuring you will respawn at this spot in Heaven City. She can also provide you with a list of all the coordinates for shops and people in Heaven City. After this basic introduction she will send you to see Lady Xuan (1174, 1112). Lady Xuan is to the left behind Jigong Moppet.

As you approach Lady Xuan you will notice a glowing lantern above her head. These glowing lanterns are used through the game to signify that this is the person you must speak with to continue on your quest. Lady Xuan will guide you through how to equip weapons and provide you with some money (50 teals) to get you started. She will then send you to see Nine Roaming Immortal (496, 1242) because he is in charge of introducing newcomers into the Heavenly World.

Nine Roaming Immortal wants some Jade wine before he is willing to provide you with an introduction to the heavenly world. He will explain to you how to make purchases, if you do not already know. Go see the Wine Deity (948,498) and purchase the Jade Wine for Nine Roaming Immortal.

The Wine Deity is unwilling to give up the Jade Wine until you have slayed 15 Little Beetle Monsters. Head to the portal for Heaven River Shores (1631, 997) to find the Little Beetle Monsters.

There are two main ways to engage in combat. You can place the cursor over the monster you wish to attack and click to attack it, or you can open your technique menu from the bottom right hand side of your screen and right click the techniques and move them into your empty hotkeys bar. As you become more advanced it will be easier to access your advanced techniques from this hotkeys bar.

When you come through the portal into the Heaven River Shore area you will notice balls of light floating around your character, this is because you are initially protected by the portal spell every time you emerge from one, but be careful, this only lasts for a few seconds.

Head straight down the road until you come to your first left, this peninsula is where you will find the Little Beetle Monsters. Kill 15 and then return to the Wine Deity.

When you return to the Wine Deity (948, 498) he will reward you with a jug of jade wine. Return to Nine Roaming Immortal (496, 1202) with the wine.

When you return Nine Roaming Immortal will allow you to select a class, Summoner or Spell Caster. Once you have selected a class he will supply you with the appropriate letter of recommendation, and send you to your trainer to become their apprentice.
